Our two beautifully rustic huts offer a special private dining experience, complete with a cosy wood burner stove, Sonos speaker system and a selection of board games to keep you entertained. Designed to blend into the pub’s surrounding woodland landscape, the huts feature a handmade wooden roundtable and ceilings laden with ivy and fairy lights for an immersive feel. The unique interior styling includes cushions, a vintage fringed centerpiece hanging light and fluffy Nordic-style rugs.

Our spacious huts are fully-serviced, with a dedicated member of our team looking after you for the duration of your time with us — so whether it’s an evening with that special someone, a lunchtime family get together, a birthday, or an anniversary… we cater for your requirements and are trained to make your private dining experience with us a special one.

Availability

We have 2 Woodland Dining Huts which are open daily throughout the year, and are available for either a lunch (12pm - 4pm) or dinner (6pm - 10pm) time slot.

Each hut seats up to 12 people, and the hire fee is only £10 per person (minimum £50).

FAQs

We often get special requests for our Woodland Dining Huts, and we always do our best to accommodate. If your question isn’t answered below then please let us know upon booking.

  • Yes, you are welcome to bring a cake to celebrate with after your meal. We kindly ask you to supply candles, lighters, paper plates and napkins where possible. You can bring your cake at the time of the meal or the morning of your booking - your cake will be stored in our cool cellar. Please let a member of the team know when you would like the cake brought out.

  • Unfortunately, we cannot allow any outside drinks brought and consumed on the premises. If you would like to bring your own celebratory champagne/fizz, we may be able to make an exception for you - please let us know upon booking so we can discuss a corkage fee.

  • Our Sonos speakers have the ability to play any pre-made playlist on Spotify only. You can share your playlist link with us to connect to your hut.

    If you don’t have Spotify - or you would like to play music directly from your device - you are more than welcome to bring your own speaker.

    Please note we have volume restrictions, to be discussed upon booking.

  • We allow all decorations except from table confetti, as it can stain our beautiful wooden tables!

    If you would like to hang some balloons or banners please supply your own Blue Tac or Sellotape, and ensure decorations are removed & disposed of after your booking.

    In the past, we have had light boxes, balloon arches, flowers etc. Please discuss your plans with us upon booking to ensure we can make the experience best suited for you. Although we cannot store decorations for you, we can come up with a time slot for you to decorate before seating.

  • Unfortunately, due to soft furnishings, we cannot allow dogs in the Woodland Dining Huts.

    We have dog-friendly seating areas in our main restaurant, as well as the Stables.
